Which ones should you pick?

First-timers who want the sea bed: scuba with an instructor needs no experience, and sea walking is the easy option if you do not want to dive. Read the scuba guide first.

Families with children: glass-bottom boat, banana boat and snorkelling suit most ages. Check each operator's age and health rules.

Couples: a sunrise kayak, a snorkel at a calm beach and a beach dinner make a good mix. See our honeymoon guide.

Thrill seekers: parasailing and jet ski are quick and fun, and a day trip to see a volcano or game fishing can be added as an extra.

Free rides in our packages

Many of our packages include offers such as a free jet ski ride or speed boat ride, and some longer Havelock trips include a free scuba dive. Offers differ by package, so check the package page or the builder summary for what your plan includes.

Booking tips

  1. Book activities with your package so timings fit around ferries.
  2. Carry swimwear, a towel and a dry bag. See the packing list.
  3. Keep a spare day if possible. Activities pause on rough-sea days and rules can change at short notice.
  4. Ask about health limits before scuba or parasailing.
Water sports are weather dependent. If an activity is cancelled by the operator, our team helps with an alternative where possible.

You can add any of these to your trip in the builder and see your total update.

Questions answered

How much does scuba diving cost in Andaman?

On our current rate card, scuba with a certified instructor is about ₹3,150 per person. Prices vary by operator and season.

Do I need to know swimming for water sports in Andaman?

Not always. Scuba and sea walking use instructors and safety gear, but you should share any concerns or health conditions before booking.

Which is cheaper, snorkelling or sea walking?

Snorkelling is the cheaper option on our rate card. Sea walking costs more because of the equipment and crew.
